TISSA RELEASED ON BAIL
Former Health Minister Tissa Attanayake was released yesterday with two surety bails of Rs 1 million each and will reappear in Court on 11 March for the next hearing.
Police Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said the police were investigating the allegation of forging a document with the intention of causing racial disharmony.
North-Western Province Chief Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara and MP Anura Priyadarashana Yapa have given statements to the CID regarding the matter.
